Big Data Engineer

This is a newly created position supporting an expanded data services initiative. The team is growing its enterprise data capabilities and needs an experienced engineer to help scale cloud-based data platforms and support increasing business demand.

What You'll Do

• Build and support cloud-based data solutions
• Develop and maintain data pipelines using Python
• Design ETL processes for large and complex data sets
• Integrate new data sources into enterprise data platforms
• Partner with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders
• Support AI/ML-related data initiatives
• Troubleshoot production issues and support ongoing operations

• Strong Python development experience
• Experience with ETL and data integration
• Cloud experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure
• Advanced SQL skills (SQL Server or PostgreSQL)
• Experience working with large-scale data environments
• Ability to work independently and drive projects forward

• HL7 integrations

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco by Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
