Job description

As a Senior Programmer Analyst on the Data Integrations team, you'll work with a team of developers with various degrees of experience supporting the development, maintenance, and implementation of Integrations built and maintained by the Data Integrations team. You'll interact with customers daily as you complete various tasks. Assignments can vary between multiple applications and projects, often at the same time. Examples of various tasks for this position may include:

  • Develop data integrations, ETLs, and Web Services using Java, PL/SQL, SSIS, T-SQL, XML, JSON, Oracle Service Bus, and BPEL
  • Evaluation of existing code and migration of current functionality into new technology
  • Test, debug, and correct programs to ensure proper functionality.
  • Educate users on the use of programs and program features, utilizing various communication mediums.
  • Create documentation in support of daily tasks, team and user education, or for ongoing and upcoming projects.
  • Serve as advisors for other technical staff and customers.

Requirements

Four (4) years of computer programming experience utilizing higher level languages including two (2) years at the Programmer Analyst level or equivalent -OR- a Bachelors Degree in Computer Sciences including two (2) years at the Programmer Analyst level or equivalent. A Masters Degree in Computer Science may be substituted for one (1) year of programming experience.

Special preference will be given to individuals who demonstrate the following skills:

  • Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
  • Java
  • Oracle SOA Suite (BPEL) and/or Oracle Service Bus
  • SSIS, SQL Server, and T-SQL
  • XML
  • JSON
  • Oracle Fusion Middleware
  • Linux shell scripting
  • Technical writing

  • Demonstrated desire to exercise accountability in a professional manner
