Our technicians work closely with end users, executives, and internal IT teams to solve problems efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of security and client satisfaction., We are seeking an experienced Senior macOS Systems Technician / JAMF Administrator to support one of our nonprofit clients in the Baltimore area.
This is a hands-on technical role. The successful candidate will spend much of their day resolving Level 1 and Level 2 end-user issues while also handling advanced macOS, Microsoft 365, and JAMF-related escalations.
Success in this role is measured not only by technical knowledge, but by the ability to efficiently troubleshoot, communicate clearly with end users, and deliver an exceptional client experience.
Duties

Provide onsite and remote technical support for macOS computers and Apple mobile devices.

Troubleshoot hardware and software issues involving macOS, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Microsoft 365, printers, peripherals, networking, and mobile devices.

Administer and support JAMF Pro, including:
-Policies
-
Configuration Profiles
-
Smart Groups
-
Package Deployment
-
Apple Business Manager enrollment
-
Zero-Touch Deployment
-
FileVault management
- Support Microsoft 365, including:
-Outlook
-
Exchange Online
-
OneDrive
-
Teams
-
Entra ID
-
Manage user onboarding and offboarding.
-
Configure user accounts, permissions, MFA, and password management.

Support Box Enterprise, including user permissions, file sharing, and synchronization.

Support 1Password administration and user access.
-
Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN, printers, docks, monitors, and other end-user peripherals.

Document all work thoroughly within the help desk ticketing system.

Escalate issues appropriately while maintaining ownership and communication with the client.

Travel onsite throughout the Baltimore area as needed., * Supporting end users in a client-facing environment

Diagnosing and resolving common desktop support issues independently
Please note: This position is highly hands-on. Candidates should expect to spend a significant portion of their time directly supporting end users while also handling advanced technical escalations.

Requirements
Candidates should have recent, hands-on experience with most of the following:

Daily macOS hardware and software troubleshooting

JAMF Pro administration (Policies, Configuration Profiles, Smart Groups, Package Deployment)

Microsoft 365 administration and Outlook troubleshooting

Apple Business Manager

Box Enterprise or equivalent cloud file-sharing platform

Entra ID / Active Directory user administration
