Job description

Join Huron's AI Tech Team as a Full Stack Engineer and help build innovative, enterprise-ready applications that bring AI solutions to life. You'll work across both frontend and backend, developing user interfaces, APIs, and integrations that connect AI workflows with real-world systems. As part of Huron's cross-functional delivery pods, you will collaborate closely with AI Engineers, Solution Architects, business stakeholders, and consulting teams to rapidly translate business problems into practical, scalable solutions. This role requires strong technical capability, effective communication, and the ability to operate independently in fast-paced, evolving environments., o Operate in sprints: lead planning, define clear Definition of Ready and Done, working with business and product owners, runs demo for review, perform handoff to production

o Design and build full-stack applications that power the firm's AI and analytics solutions. o Develop and deploy reusable tools and frameworks that enhance solution delivery across consulting teams. o Create intuitive front-end interfaces using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar frameworks. o Develop robust backend services and APIs in Python (FastAPI, Django, Flask), integrating with data and external systems. o Implement secure authentication, data management, and system integration across cloud environments (Azure, AWS). o Ensure seamless front-end to back-end integration and deliver complete, production-ready features. o Apply DevOps and CI/CD practices to support deployment, monitoring, and maintainability of applications. o Partner with technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand workflows, clarify requirements, and translate business needs into working solutions. o Operate with a high degree of ownership and independence, driving solutions from concept through implementation. o Rapidly prototype and iterate on solutions in collaboration with cross-functional

Requirements

o 6+ years of professional experience in full-stack development.

o Hands-on with agentic engineering tools and IDEs (Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, or similar) in day-to-day delivery. o Agile and Scrum delivery, including sprint planning and working in sprints. o Comfort working in fast-paced, evolving environments with shifting priorities and ambiguous problem spaces. o Strong proficiency in React and JavaScript/TypeScript; experience with Python for backend development. o Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes). o Familiarity with CI/CD, testing, and secure development practices. o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). o Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. o Experience translating business workflows or operational challenges into technical solutions is a plus.

Flexible living locations across US or Canada, ability to travel as needed.

  • Dental insurance, The estimated base salary for this job is $120,000 - $145,000 USD. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron's annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron's pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $134,400 - $171,100 USD. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron's benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
