Job description

Process: System Integration testing - Plan and execute validation steps for new system integrations. Create, execute, and review integration validation protocols and test scripts. Investigate integration issues, perform root-cause analysis, and troubleshoot system anomalies during testing phase. Verify data accuracy during system updates, migrations, vendor upgrades, and initial build testing.

  • Collaboration: Collaborates with cross-functional design and validation teams to develop and maintain testing scripts. Works closely with other build teams, ensuring test scripts accurately represent practiced workflows. Define use cases to include regression testing and edge case testing.

  • Analysis: Analyzes IT architecture requirements and systems/application compatibility to create the best testing scripts. Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting testing failures. Thinks strategically to help define the answers to the changes within the organization

  • Leadership: Coordinates implementation of new and revised testing scripts with IT personnel, vendors, consultants, and customers. Shows full ownership and accountability for simple to complex assignments from start to finish. Strong advocate for the organization, showing flexibility as priorities change. Readily mentors and assist team members as needed without being asked. Strong relationship management skills that include excellent listening and consultative abilities. Establishes credible relationships with partners to drive change.

  • Quality: Ensures integration best practices and standard operating procedures are followed. Participates in testing events

Requirements

Epic Bridges Certification Capable Knowledge in:

  • HL7 standards and capable understanding of integration methodology and architecture
  • Testing tools including API tools (Postman, SoapUI), HL7 validators or stimulators
  • Data mapping
  • Regular expressions
  • IP protocols

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Capable Knowledge in:

  • FHIR
  • Intersystems Health Connect Cloud (IHCC)
  • File transfer standards (FTP, SFTP)
  • Web Services
