Job description
Simulation Design & Integration: Collaborate on the end-to-end planning, architectural design, development, and system integration of complex hardware and software solutions for flight, vehicle, and training simulators.
LVC Environments: Support the deployment and configuration of Live-Virtual-Constructive environments to ensure immersive, high-fidelity training capabilities.
Cross-Functional Engineering Liaison: Serve as the primary technical point of contact bridging mechanical, hardware, and software teams; accurately translate technical specifications into unified system designs.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related hardware- or software-centric STEM field.
CAD / Design Tools: AutoCAD, SolidWorks (Highly proficient in mechanical systems & hardware design)
MS&T Protocols: Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS), High-Level Architecture (HLA)
Modeling & Programming: MATLAB/Simulink, SysML, C++, Python
Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE): Cameo Systems Modeler, Enterprise Architect
Configuration & Project Management: Jira, Confluence, Git
Proven ability to articulate intricate technical concepts, project milestones, and engineering limitations clearly to internal development teams and external military/DoD stakeholders.
REQUIRED SECURITY CLEARANCE: Active DoD Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain.
