Job description
A Software Development Engineer designs, develops, tests, installs, and maintains systems, applications, networks, and/or telecom and related processes to meet the functional objectives of the business. Assesses system, application, network, and/or telecom needs, provides modeling and simulation consulting to clarify client technology functionality, and evaluates and implement new advanced technologies. Ensures adherence to established technology standards and consults with senior leadership on technology solutions. Supports existing systems and is responsible for leading technical aspects of a project. Responsible for assigning resources and delegating tasks to meet project deliverables. Need Gen AI, Agentic AI and prompt engineering knowledge. Working on coding/developing code for FDPOS on projects that are assigned to you by management. Joining Project calls, as needed that have impact on FDPOS. Utilizing your knowledge of Java development (J2EE , Spring boot knowledge) skills while leading FDPOS project.
- Providing and REST/SOAP API development while leading FDPOS project.
- Providing Oracle Database SQL development while using XML and JSON technologies while leading FDPOS project. Providing detailed reporting using Jira and Confluence. Perform scripting in Unix operating systems to support file loading, archiving, and file transfers specific to FDPOS functionality.
Requirements
- 8+ years of Java development (J2EE , Spring boot knowledge).
- Should have Kafka knowledge
- 8+ years of experience in XML and JSON technologies.
- 4+ years of Oracle database SQL development.
- 8+ REST and SOAP API development experience
- Experience in reporting with JIRA and Confluence.
- Operating Systems Experience with proficiency in UNIX/ Linux environment.
