Job description

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to monitor project objectives and technical milestones.

Define and derive system requirements, ensuring full traceability throughout the entire system lifecycle.

Apply the V-Model throughout the development, verification, and validation phases.

Perform system, integration, and acceptance testing activities.

Collaborate with Software and Hardware specialists to ensure optimal system implementation.

Carry out Verification & Validation (V&V) activities at both national and international levels.

Support Project Managers with technical project activities.

Assist the Customer Support Manager during customer technical support activities.

Deliver system training to end users when required.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or another scientific discipline.

Mandatory Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of Verification & Validation (V&V) processes.

Experience in testing activities.

Background in Systems Engineering.

Excellent written and spoken English (minimum B2 level).

Preferred Technical Skills: Knowledge of IBM DOORS.

Experience with JIRA.

Familiarity with Teamcenter.

Knowledge of Agile methodologies.

Familiarity with build and CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, Git).

Experience with or familiarity with ground-based aviation training systems.

Knowledge of German.

Soft Skills: Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks autonomously.

Ability to handle complex customer situations.

Ability to work effectively in dynamic, international environments.

Strong problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset.

Strong attention to quality, accountability, and results.

Travel Requirements: Willingness to undertake occasional short business trips abroad, depending on project requirements.
