Job description

You will work as a Full-stack Software/ Product Engineer. You will directly collaborate with the business, product, and team members to architect and build enterprise-scale systems used across the world wide Prime Video organization. You will build features for internal web applications, work on backend services, and pipelines to vend data across our analytics platform.

About the team The Prime Video Content Analytics team is a diverse group of skilled professionals dedicated to developing Software and Business Intelligence products to enable internal stakeholders to plan, configure and track content launches on Prime Video. Amongst others, our work impacts investment decisions for streaming content, the personalization on Prime Video's storefront, and the digital supply chain of getting content from the studios to the Prime Video app.

Our team values curiosity, rapid iteration, and a willingness to challenge assumptions to help shape what we build, not just how we build it. Engineers work closely with the business, product, and leadership to explore ideas, test lightweight solutions, and ship meaningful improvements quickly.

Requirements

  • Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
  • Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers, or experience (non-internship) in professional software development
  • Experience leading and influencing your team or organization, or experience leading the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
  • Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, cross-functional environments: clarifying goals, working directly with non-engineering stakeholders, and translating customer workflows into product and technical changes
  • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development workflows. Demonstrated usage of LLMs and agentic coding tools in day-to-day engineering, including writing specs, designing agentic loops, and integrating these tools into the team's development practices
  • Strong interest in LLMs, agents, and AI tooling, demonstrated through self-directed learning or hands-on work (e.g., side projects, prototypes, open-source contributions), and staying current with industry advancements, * Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Experience building/operating highly available, distributed systems of data extraction, ingestion, and processing of large data sets
  • Experience with big data processing technology (e.g., Hadoop or ApacheSpark), data warehouse technical architecture, infrastructure components, ETL, and reporting/analytic tools and environments
  • Significant experience in working with relational and non-relational databases
  • Deep experience building modern data-heavy web applications
  • Prior experience operating services on AWS or other Cloud technologies in a production environment, including monitoring, alerting, and cost awareness
  • Experience building agentic features or harnesses, including defining the agent loop, designing tools, managing context budget, and adding human-oversight
  • Experience building and operating LLM-powered tools or features in production, including context engineering, eval-driven iteration, and handling non-determinism in production behavior
