This is a brand-new leadership role with real autonomy, clear progression towards senior leadership, and direct mentorship from an experienced Software Development Manager. You will join a mature engineering environment, work on complex large-scale systems, and help shape a core business-critical platform at the heart of our technology organisation. We offer a salary up to £90,000, annual pay reviews, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, flexible working hours, a health plan, free parking, and above-industry-standard sick pay cover.

  • We need strong experience in SQL, data modelling, and caching such as Redis.
  • We need proven delivery of scalable, distributed systems with clean code, TDD, and quality-first engineering.
  • We need experience with real-time and state-driven systems, along with strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
  • We need experience with high-volume transactional or payment systems in regulated, security-conscious environments.
  • We need a solid foundation in mathematics, algorithms, and complex problem-solving.
