More:
We are a pioneering startup on a mission to break down digital barriers for the deaf community by translating digital and written content into sign language, making information truly accessible for everyone. We are building a modern platform that combines AI, microservices, and cloud-native infrastructure, with a clean-slate environment and no legacy tech debt. This is a 9-month fixed-term, full-time PAYE role that is remote or hybrid for candidates based in the UK or Ireland, with occasional in-person travel. We offer a modern stack including React, Nuxt, JavaScript/TypeScript, FastAPI, Node.js, Azure, and AI/ML, plus high ownership, strong purpose, and the potential for equity if converted to permanent.
Requirements
- We are looking for a full-stack engineer with 6+ years of experience.
- We need someone confident building frontend systems with React, Nuxt, or other JavaScript frameworks.
- We need someone confident building backend systems with FastAPI, Node.js, GraphQL, or similar technologies.
- We are looking for someone who writes clean, consistent code quickly and thoughtfully.
- We need someone comfortable working fast and wearing many hats in an early-stage startup.
- We value a strong interest in inclusion and accessibility, especially for overlooked communities.
