Network Security Engineer (SC Cleared)

• Take technical ownership of the customer security infrastructure estate, processes, procedures, documentation, and lifecycle management
• Act as the technical point of contact and escalation point for security-related changes, modifications, and firewall rule base projects
• Provide technical support and change management for physical and remote changes, customer inventory management, and hardware/software end-of-life activity
• Serve as the technical point of contact for vendor support on security infrastructure incidents
• Design customer networks and support high-level and low-level design documentation

• Strong hands-on experience with F5, Zscaler, and Palo Alto security technologies
• Strong experience in firewalls and network security
• Telecoms industry experience preferred
• Experience with Checkpoint, Juniper, Bluecoat, Cisco Network Solutions, Cisco IPT, QoS, 802.1x, Infoblox DNS, switches, wireless, VPN, and WAN routing protocols is advantageous

We are a global IT consultancy supporting a leading telecoms end client. This is a 6-month contract role, outside IR35, offering £380 per day. The role is primarily remote, with occasional travel to UK customer sites including Wokingham, Corsham, Farnborough, and Warwick. We are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible in July or August 2026.
