Remote Senior Search Developer

• We build scalable web services to orchestrate and surface underlying Search and ML models
• We mine usage data to power features and guide development
• We participate in technical planning, user story and technical acceptance creation, and implementation
• We plan technical architectures that minimize or eliminate performance problems, complexity, or solution fragility
• We work independently and mentor more junior team members
• We identify and solve complex problems

• We need 7+ years of professional experience building scalable and reliable search applications
• We need expert-level Python skills
• We need knowledge of Search and Clickstream analytics
• We need the ability to mentor and share knowledge with team members
• We need you to be independent, self-managed, and motivated
• We need a good command of the English language
• A bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems is a plus
• Additional technical experience with Elasticsearch, Vector Search, Recommendation Engines, Redis, Notification Services, AWS, or another cloud provider is a plus
