Remote Senior Software Engineer

• We design and build robust backend and edge/IoT components for diverse client deliverables across multiple software domains.
• We scope and execute bounded technical problems to ensure high-velocity delivery.
• We ship production-ready code in Python and at least one compiled language such as Rust, C++, Go, C#, or Java.
• We implement scalable CI/CD processes, containerisation with Docker, and deployments on Kubernetes or bare metal.
• We mentor and pair with fellow engineers to share best practices and help the team deliver their best work.
• We collaborate with Machine Learning and Data Science teams to operationalise agentic software and advanced AI tooling.
• We lead backend and edge/IoT engineering for critical work streams and bridge machine learning research with production-grade software.

• We require eligibility for UK Security Clearance (SC).
• We require willingness to work 2 to 4 days per week on-site with our Defence customers, including travel to locations throughout the UK.
