Job description

  • Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support via phone, email, and face-to-face
  • Set up and manage user accounts, permissions, and passwords
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and general infrastructure issues
  • Support desktops, printers, and telecoms systems
  • Assist with system monitoring, backups, and antivirus updates
  • Help onboard new starters, including IT setup and basic user training
  • Work with third-party suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues
  • Keep IT asset records up to date, including hardware, software, and mobile devices

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an IT support / helpdesk role
  • Good working knowledge of Windows Server
  • Good working knowledge of Active Directory
  • Good working knowledge of DHCP
  • Good working knowledge of Office 365
  • Good working knowledge of Windows desktop environments
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Confident communicator with a strong customer service approach
  • Organised, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Experience with business applications would be a bonus
