Job description

  • Centralise data stored in RDBMS systems.
  • Perform data ingestion and upload data into the database.
  • Own and drive model development independently.
  • Work closely with our advanced analytics teams to apply analytical techniques and support client value creation from data.

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of data management tools including SQL/DBMS, MongoDB, Hadoop, and/or other big data technologies.
  • Advanced programming skills in Java, Python, R, C++, C#, etc.
  • Knowledge of statistical and data mining techniques, including regression, decision trees, clustering, and neural networks.
  • Experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
  • Exposure to online, mobile, and social data is a plus.
  • Intellectual curiosity, along with excellent problem-solving and quantitative skills.
  • Ability to disaggregate issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions.
  • Ability to independently own and drive model development while balancing demands and deadlines.
  • Strong people skills, team orientation, and a professional attitude.
  • Enterprise knowledge of data management, data pipeline, Python, SQL, and AWS.
  • Bachelors degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree is a strong plus.
