Job description
As a Technical Support Specialist, you'll be the go-to expert for customers and internal teams, providing technical expertise gained from studies and lab experience, to deliver top-tier technical support and product knowledge.
You'll be working closely with the Technical Services Manager, handling pre and post-sales, troubleshooting, and delivering training to both customers and colleagues.
Responsibilities
- First line support for relating to Pre and Post sales enquires.
- Keeping a log of cases on CRM.
- Engaging with customers to identify and resolve problems.
- Manage training materials to provide training to customers on the instruments.
- Assist Specialists and managers with demonstrations of products, materials and presentations.
- Engaging with customers face-to-face.
- Perform annual preventative maintenance once signed off as ready.
Requirements
- A Science degree (Biology, Molecular, Micro or similar) plus laboratory experience (Post Degree).
- Strong technical understanding.
- A customer-focused mindset with a passion for helping others.
- Competence with Microsoft Office and confidence using new software systems.
