Job description

  • Design, develop, test, maintain, and improve software within our current product portfolio and future products
  • Identify issues and work collaboratively with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders internally and externally
  • Support continuous improvement of existing products and processes
  • Help reduce time to market for new features and support on-time delivery
  • Improve response to failures and bugs
  • Produce maintainable, well-structured, and well-documented code
  • Carry out backend development
  • Work on frontend and UI development
  • Develop integrations and APIs
  • Support automation and tooling
  • Perform cloud and infrastructure tasks
  • Develop embedded software and firmware
  • Help shape technical decisions
  • Work closely with hardware teams, including microcontrollers, device communication, and low-level systems

Requirements

  • Degree in Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • Solid programming fundamentals
  • Experience with modern web technologies and UI frameworks
  • Experience with Python, C/C++, JavaScript, or similar languages
  • Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows
  • Experience with databases and APIs
  • Experience with cloud platforms
  • Experience with embedded systems or firmware development
  • Interest in both software and hardware environments
  • Ability to work independently and figure things out
  • Comfortable working across different parts of a system
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Good communication skills at all levels
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team
  • Self-motivated with good time management and focus on task completion
  • Experience working in organisations with ISO9001 quality management systems
  • Good understanding of compliance-related aspects of product software
