Job description

Hotel Website and Booking Engine Management

  • Manage and update hotel website content, offers, packages and promotional information.
  • Ensure hotel information, room details, images and facilities are accurate and customer-focused.
  • Support the management and optimisation of hotel booking engines.
  • Review the online booking journey and identify opportunities to improve conversion.
  • Monitor and help resolve website and online booking issues.
  • Support the onboarding of new hotels, room types, offers and packages.

Online Distribution

  • Ensure rates, availability, restrictions and promotions are accurately displayed across online channels.
  • Support the management of hotel content across third-party platforms, including Booking.com and Expedia.
  • Monitor rate parity and escalate pricing or availability discrepancies.
  • Work with Revenue and hotel teams to improve online visibility and sales performance.
  • Support strategies to reduce reliance on third-party booking channels and increase direct bookings.
  • Ensure promotions and packages are correctly loaded and available for sale.

Digital Sales and Conversion

  • Drive growth in direct online bookings across the UK hotel portfolio.
  • Identify opportunities for packages, upgrades, upselling and added-value offers.
  • Review booking abandonment and conversion performance.
  • Support improvements to landing pages, website content and calls to action.
  • Recommend initiatives to improve website traffic, booking conversion and average booking value.

Campaign Support

  • Work closely with the Marketing team on website promotions, email campaigns and digital campaigns.
  • Support seasonal, tactical and last-minute promotions across England and Scotland.
  • Ensure campaign landing pages and booking links are accurate and functioning correctly.
  • Coordinate campaign activity with hotel teams and central departments.

Reporting and Analysis

  • Monitor key performance indicators, including:
  • website traffic;
  • conversion rate;
  • direct booking revenue;
  • average booking value;
  • booking engine performance;
  • campaign performance;
  • channel contribution.
  • Produce weekly and monthly e-commerce performance reports.
  • Analyse customer behaviour, booking trends and campaign results.
  • Provide practical, data-driven recommendations to improve online revenue.

Hotel and Stakeholder Support

  • Liaise with General Managers and hotel teams to ensure online information reflects the guest experience.
  • Work closely with Revenue, Marketing and central support functions.
  • Provide guidance to hotels regarding online content, promotions and booking issues.
  • Travel to hotels in England and Scotland when required.
  • Support other UK portfolio e-commerce projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Previous experience within hotel e-commerce, hotel revenue, reservations, distribution or hotel digital marketing.
  • Experience working with hotel websites, booking engines or content management systems.
  • Understanding of online travel agents, including Booking.com and Expedia.
  • Strong understanding of the hotel customer booking journey.
  • Ability to analyse online sales and performance data.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability.
  • Ability to manage multiple hotels, deadlines and priorities.
  • Willingness to travel across England and Scotland.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Experience using hotel channel managers, property management systems or revenue management systems.
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics or similar reporting tools.
  • Understanding of SEO, conversion rate optimisation and paid digital marketing.
  • Experience supporting a multi-property or cluster hotel portfolio.
  • Experience with rate parity, online distribution and direct-booking strategies., * How many years of experience do you have within hotels or the hospitality industry?
