Job description
- We ship full-stack features end to end, owning the full lifecycle from conception to production with minimal oversight.
- We build and maintain the infrastructure powering our services, keeping systems reliable and performant as we scale.
- We work directly with AI researchers to bring new model capabilities into the product, moving fast without sacrificing quality.
- We translate user feedback into product improvements, closing the loop quickly between what customers experience and what gets shipped.
- We collaborate daily with the full team to review progress, surface blockers, and keep velocity high.

More:
We are Fastino, building the next generation of LLMs and specialized, efficient AI. Our team includes alumni from Google Research, Apple, Stanford, and Cambridge, and our GLiNER family of open source models has been downloaded more than 5 million times and is used by companies such as NVIDIA, Meta, and Airbnb. We have raised $25M in our seed round and are backed by leading investors including Microsoft, Khosla Ventures, Insight Partners, GitHub CEO Thomas Dohmke, Docker CEO Scott Johnston, and others. This is a full-time remote role in the UK with trips to our Silicon Valley office.
Requirements
- We require 3+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, with a track record of owning features from design to deployment.
- We require strong Python skills; comfort in TypeScript is a plus but not required.
- We require the ability to thrive in ambiguity and balance speed and scalability without needing a playbook.
- Experience building or integrating with LLM-based systems or AI infrastructure is a plus.
- Familiarity with high-concurrency backend systems or low-latency API design is a plus.
