Remote C++ Developer

• Develop new software for our products and services
• Assist with the design and maintenance of new and existing products
• Contribute to high-level system design delivery with the team
• Collaborate across multiple technical teams
• Perform code reviews for other team members
• Contribute to our agile team through refinement meetings, stand-ups, and sprint reviews

• C++, We are working with a growing software vendor that has recently received private equity investment and has exciting plans to grow and produce new software. We create forward-thinking financial services software used by thousands of customers in the UK. This is a 6-month contract role starting ASAP, offered on a pro-rata annual salary basis, with remote working and travel to our Reading area office on day one.

• 5+ years of commercial development experience using C++
• Working knowledge of Qt, multiplatform
• Knowledge of XML, JSON, and RESTful APIs
• Experience working on Linux and Windows based systems
• Experience with SQL-based database platforms
• Experience using code versioning tools such as Git or SVN and the Atlassian tool suite, including Jira and Confluence
• Strong written and verbal English language skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
