Job description

  • Enhancing cloud infrastructure in line with strategy and approved budgets
  • Contributing to the design and delivery of cloud services with engineering teams
  • Supporting stakeholders in adopting modern cloud-native application architectures
  • Ensuring cloud environments follow up-to-date security and software lifecycle patterns
  • Driving the evolution of the organisations cloud security platforms

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP
  • Ability to translate High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs) into actionable technical designs
  • Strong exposure to CI/CD pipelines and Agile/Scrum delivery
  • Experience with incident, problem, and change management processes
  • Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with automation tools such as Chef or similar
  • (Desirable) Experience creating Deployment Manager templates or Terraform modules for GCP
  • (Desirable) Knowledge of IAM roles, Service Accounts, and Organisation Policies
  • (Desirable) Hands-on experience with Cloud Build, Artifact Registry, and Cloud Deploy
  • (Desirable) Understanding of GCP networking: VPC, Firewall Rules, and Load Balancing
  • (Desirable) Experience using Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring, and Security Command Centre
  • (Desirable) Knowledge of GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine) and container orchestration in GCP
