Job description

  • We answer customer questions and solve problems regarding product operation.
  • We analyse problems and solutions and make recommendations for process improvement.
  • We communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.

  • We perform testing procedures to determine the cause of problems and implement solutions.

We are hiring a Technical Support Engineer to join our growing team and provide technical support and troubleshooting for our customers.

Requirements

  • We are looking for a self-motivated, organised, detail-oriented person with strong troubleshooting abilities, analytical skills, and strong technical knowledge.
  • We require the ability to work effectively under pressure and a high level of commitment.
  • We require experience at Tier 1 level for at least 1 year.
  • We are looking for skills in virtualisation, including Xen Server (XCP) and VMware.
  • We value VoIP knowledge, including Asterisk/FreePBX, 3CX, and SIP.
  • We require experience with Office 365.
  • We value knowledge of Microsoft licensing, NCE, and SPLA.
  • We value Azure experience.
  • We need strong network design and diagnostics skills, including VPNs, VLANs, and Wi-Fi.
  • We value commercial awareness.
  • We value hardware knowledge including WatchGuard, DrayTek, Dell servers and switches, Yealink, and Cisco.
  • We require a full clean driving licence.
  • We require the ability to commute to our Huddersfield location or relocate before starting.
