Requirements
- We are looking for software engineers with strong backend and cloud infrastructure experience.
- You should have experience building systems that scale and understanding tradeoffs between throughput, latency, and cost.
- You should have strong experience with event-driven architectures, including pub/sub systems and event streaming platforms.
- You should have experience with analytical databases or OLAP systems and understand storage, indexing, and query optimization.
- You should be comfortable owning cloud infrastructure and working with infrastructure-as-code.
- You should be comfortable writing backend code in strongly typed languages; Kotlin experience is a plus, but not required.
- You should thrive in a fast-moving, early-stage environment where priorities and requirements evolve.
- You should care about customers and the problems our systems solve.
- You should be comfortable working across different parts of the system and adapting as needs change.

Our team brings deep experience across marketplaces, machine learning, fintech, and enterprise software, and we move quickly while working on mission-critical systems. We offer a salary range of £90,000 to £110,000 plus share options, early ownership of critical infrastructure, real architectural influence, and a collaborative team that values deep technical work and continuous learning. We support remote work within +/- 3 hours of GMT and EST, or you can work from our offices in central London or New York.
