Job description

  • We lead the end-to-end procurement lifecycle across IT and Technology categories, managing significant annual spend.
  • We manage procurement of SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, and enterprise applications, ensuring optimisation and licence efficiency.
  • We oversee sourcing of devices, networks, and infrastructure to ensure performance, resilience, and cost control.
  • We manage sourcing of managed services, consulting, and support services to enhance capability and delivery.
  • We negotiate complex contracts and SLAs with key technology vendors, ensuring value and performance.
  • We support adoption of procurement technologies and automation to improve efficiency and visibility.
  • We ensure alignment with data security, regulatory, and cyber risk requirements.
  • We develop and deliver sourcing strategies across software, hardware, cloud, and IT services.
  • We ensure technology investments are cost-effective, scalable, secure, and aligned to business and digital transformation objectives.

Requirements

  • We have proven procurement experience within IT or Technology categories.
  • We have a strong understanding of software, cloud, hardware, and IT services markets.
  • We have a proven ability to deliver cost optimisation and value creation.
  • We have experience with procurement platforms such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, or Oracle.
  • We have strong negotiation, commercial, and contract management skills.
  • We have excellent stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical teams.
  • We have a data-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
  • We hold a bachelors degree in Business, IT, Supply Chain, or a related field; a masters degree is preferred.
  • We have experience in complex or regulated environments, which is advantageous.
  • We hold a professional certification such as CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent, which is preferred.
