Software Developer (Cloud & Desktop Applications)

• Develop Windows desktop applications using C#, .NET, and WPF
• Build APIs using ASP.NET Core
• Develop cloud synchronisation functionality
• Design and maintain SQL Server and SQLite databases
• Implement authentication and user permissions
• Contribute to software architecture and technical decisions

• DevOps, We are recruiting for a Software Developer (Desktop & Cloud Applications) role based in Scarborough, North Yorkshire. This is a long-term opportunity to build applications from the ground up, with hybrid working available once established. The role offers a salary of £40,000 - £45,000, Monday to Friday hours from 8:30am to 4:30pm, and benefits including 25 days holiday plus Christmas shutdown, enhanced employer pension, life insurance, company sick pay, free flu vaccinations, company events, on-site parking, and hybrid working once established.

• Around 3-5 years of commercial software development experience
• Strong experience with C# and .NET
• Experience building desktop applications, with WPF preferred
• Experience developing REST APIs using ASP.NET Core
• Knowledge of SQL Server, SQLite, or similar relational databases
• Exposure to cloud technologies, with Azure experience advantageous
• Experience delivering projects from concept through to release
• Confidence working independently within a small development team
• A genuine passion for software development and continuous learning
