  • Help scale our production forecasting system from a handful of clients to hundreds
  • Deliver practical machine learning solutions with a focus on business outcomes, not just model accuracy

Requirements

  • Production ML experience, with a track record of deploying ML systems that handle messy data, fail gracefully, and require monitoring
  • Strong ML fundamentals, including the ability to reason about practical trade-offs, explain feature importance versus model selection, and make sound judgment calls when unexpected issues arise
  • Client-facing deployment experience, having personally owned an ML deployment end-to-end and being comfortable on calls with non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong programming skills in Python, including the ML and scientific Python stack such as numpy and scikit-learn
  • Daily use of AI development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or equivalent as a standard working mode
  • Experience in forecasting, time-series, or demand-planning would be an advantage
  • Familiarity with our stack: Python, scikit-learn, MLflow, Docker, and GCP would be an advantage
  • Experience working in a small team where ownership is broad and context switching is normal would be an advantage
