Job description
- Design the Salesforce CRM solution architecture across current and future systems.
- Define how Salesforce integrates with wider business platforms and applications.
- Support CRM migration, including data mapping, data quality, and transition planning.
- Work with developers to shape robust, practical technical solutions.
- Work with product and business stakeholders to translate requirements into clear architectural decisions.
- Review existing systems, integrations, and processes to identify improvements and simplification opportunities.
- Advise on configuration, customisation, integration patterns, and technical trade-offs.
- Create clear, accessible documentation for system architecture, data flows, and integration points.
- Help establish architecture principles, standards, and guardrails for delivery teams.
- Challenge the status quo where current processes, systems, or decisions create unnecessary complexity.
- Plan and manage our own workload effectively, balancing delivery priorities, stakeholder input, and technical decision-making.

Requirements
- Experience as a Solutions Architect, Technical Architect, CRM Architect, or in a similar architectural role.
- Strong Salesforce CRM implementation and/or migration experience.
- Experience designing integrations across multiple systems and platforms.
- Good understanding of APIs, data flows, data migration, and legacy system environments.
- Ability to engage credibly with developers and technical teams.
- Ability to work effectively with product, operational, and business stakeholders.
- Commercial maturity, sound judgement, and the ability to prioritise without requiring constant direction.
- A pragmatic approach to architecture, with a focus on what is deliverable, maintainable, and valuable.
- Confidence to challenge existing thinking while remaining constructive, collaborative, and solutions-focused.
