Job description
- Deploy and support security monitoring tools feeding into the SOC.
- Ensure tooling is optimised and actively protecting client environments.
- Collaborate with teams to assess risks and design effective security controls.
- Support senior engineers across SIEM, threat intelligence and malware platforms.
- Apply updates, manage changes and follow robust operational processes.
- Stay ahead of emerging threats and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Strong grasp of information security fundamentals.
- Experience with Splunk or Sentinel.
- Familiarity with security monitoring and protective technologies.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- A logical, analytical approach to problem-solving.
- Confidence planning work and influencing technical teams.
- Solid organisational skills with a focus on delivery.
- CompTIA Network+ (or equivalent knowledge).
It would be great if you had:
- Experience with Azure or AWS security features.
- Broader SIEM experience (especially Splunk).
