Security Operational Centre Engineer

• Deploy and support security monitoring tools feeding into the SOC.
• Ensure tooling is optimised and actively protecting client environments.
• Collaborate with teams to assess risks and design effective security controls.
• Support senior engineers across SIEM, threat intelligence and malware platforms.
• Apply updates, manage changes and follow robust operational processes.
• Stay ahead of emerging threats and drive continuous improvement.

• Strong grasp of information security fundamentals.
• Experience with Splunk or Sentinel.
• Familiarity with security monitoring and protective technologies.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
• A logical, analytical approach to problem-solving.
• Confidence planning work and influencing technical teams.
• Solid organisational skills with a focus on delivery.
• CompTIA Network+ (or equivalent knowledge).

It would be great if you had:

• Experience with Azure or AWS security features.
• Broader SIEM experience (especially Splunk).
