Job description
- Serve as the main contact for customers on quality issues.
- Lead corrective actions (CARs) and ensure problems are resolved quickly.
- Manage customer complaints, returns, and non-conforming products.
- Lead APQP and PPAP activities for new product launches.
- Ensure all PPAP documentation is completed and submitted on time.
- Coordinate Run@Rate activities and launch readiness reviews.
- Maintain compliance with IATF 16949 requirements.
- Oversee SPC, process capability studies, MSA, calibration systems, and inspection standards.
- Own key quality documents such as PFMEAs, Control Plans, Process Flows, Standard Work, and Work Instructions.
- Lead root cause investigations using tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to improve quality and reduce defects.
- Manage quality requirements for new product launches from prototype through production.
- Coordinate dimensional validation, pre-launch inspections, PPAP samples, and launch activities.
- Train production teams on new processes and quality requirements.
- Lead and support the Quality team while promoting safety, 5S, and professionalism.
- Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Maintenance, Suppliers, and Customers.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jeffersonville, IN. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $43.27 - $45.67/hr.
