Job description
Laars Heating Systems is currently seeking an experienced professional to join our Product Support Team to provide technical product support for our contractors, manufactures representatives, homeowners, and other Laars related customers. This position is based out of our Rochester, NH facility., 1. Provide both verbal and written technical support for our products including plumbing, electrical, gas, venting, as well as technical troubleshooting
- Participate and support the creation of all technical service procedures and bulletin documentation
- Attend local job sites for product support as required
- Attend job related courses to update product knowledge and skills
- Communicate field feedback to the Technical Support Supervisor
- Participate in Laars-sponsored educational training seminars
- Participate in new product development process by attending product and service review meetings
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
High School Diploma required, Associates Degree in a technical major, * Experience with HVAC systems, equipment, design, applications, and service is but not required
- Strong customer service focus
- Ability to work successfully in a high-volume call center environment
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office
- Ability to interpret mechanical, electrical, and architectural drawings
- Ability to interpret engineering specifications and design
- Proficient computer skills in Word, Excel, Power Point, CAD
- Knowledge of Boiler and Water Heater Sequencing, Building Management Systems and Building Automation Systems including BACnet, Lon Works, Modbus, and other protocols
