Job description

A Leading Government Contracting Company is seeking a NAST -T Infrastructure Engineer to join thier team in Sunnyvale, CA!

Scope of the work:

  • Review and correct existing NAST-T drawings per as built configuration

  • Work with drafting engineer(s) to incorporate the updates and then support release of the updated drawings with new rev #s using Enterprise Product Data Management (EPDM) system

  • Work with NAST-T senior Hardware (HW) engineers and create new drawings and then work with drafting engineer(s) to release the new drawings using EPDM system

  • Design and develop custom cables when required

  • Work with senior electronic engineers to design, develop, document and build new electronic HW for NAST-T lab's HW infrastructure

  • Work with senior electronic engineers to integrate the newly built HW with existing HW/Software (SW), test and support release of documentation

  • Support/help senior NAST-T Information Technology (IT) team members for all IT infrastructure related activities such as install SW tools, configure network equipment, install IT HW Operating System (OS) and etc.

  • Support the NAST-T infrastructure HW team to maintain the NAST-T lab's HW infrastructure

Requirements

  • Bachelor in EE or Equivalent with at least 2 years of professional experience;or Masters in EE with no experience

  • Electrical/Electronic design experience

  • Experience with Computer Networking and/or IT infrastructure

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Visio

*Demonstrate organizational skills

*Ability to work with several senior electronic engineers

  • Able to work effectively with multiple disciplines

  • Computer Aided Design (CAD) experience

  • Security Plus Certification

MUST HAVE ACTIVE FINAL DOD SECRET CLEARANCE
