o A senior full-stack engineer/technical lead responsible for building and modernizing applications using .NET and React, while shaping architecture, standards, and tooling decisions.
o The role spans API design, Node.js services, and deep integration with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse). It includes driving AI adoption (e.g., Copilot, OpenAI), leading legacy modernization efforts, and establishing CI/CD and engineering best practices.
o The position also involves mentoring developers, conducting design/code reviews, ensuring performance and security, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable solutions.

Requirements
o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
o Active Secret clearance and must be local to the DMV area with the ability to support onsite requirements in Washington, DC.
o 8+ years of progressive experience in .NET development (C#, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core), including experience in a technical lead or senior engineering role.
o Demonstrated experience making architecture and technology selection decisions for enterprise applications - and the ability to articulate the reasoning behind them.
o Proficiency in React - including hooks, component design, state management, and building responsive UIs.
o Experience developing server-side applications or APIs with Node.js.
o Demonstrated use of AI-powered developer tools such as GitHub Copilot, OpenAI Codex, or similar code-generation assistants in a professional setting.
o Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform - including Power Apps (canvas and/or model-driven), Power Automate, and Power BI - with the judgment to know when low-code is and isn't the right answer.
o Working knowledge of Microsoft Dataverse - including data modeling, table configuration, relationships, and security roles.
o Experience supporting or modernizing SharePoint-backed systems, with familiarity across SharePoint Online and legacy SharePoint(2013 or newer).
o Deep experience with MS SQL, Entity Framework, and RESTful API design and consumption.
o Experience establishing or maturing CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows, with strong Git fundamentals for source control and collaborative development.
o Experience leading code reviews, setting coding standards, and mentoring developers.
o Strong understanding of application security concepts, Active Directory, and identity/access patterns in enterprise environments.
o Familiarity with Microsoft 365 / Office suite - including SharePoint Online, Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, and OneDrive - in a collaborative enterprise environment.
o Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical recommendations to both engineering teams and non-technical stakeholders.
o Ability to work onsite in a federal environment (occasional Saturday hours may be required for deployment activities). o Experience architecting solutions in Azure cloud environments, including deployments in a federal or FedRAMP context.
o Experience integrating LLM/AI APIs (e.g., Azure OpenAI, OpenAI API, Hugging Face) into production applications.
o Familiarity with AI development platforms and prompt engineering techniques.
o Familiarity with Dataverse for Teams and Power Apps embedded in Microsoft Teams.
o Experience with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD pipelines.
o Familiarity with TypeScript for frontend and/or Node.js development.
o Exposure to containerization tools such as Docker or Kubernetes.
o Understanding of Section 508 accessibility standards.
o Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Power Platform Solution Architect, or equivalent.
