Job description

Develop, integrate, and support software throughout the technology development lifecycle across aircraft software, simulation environments, and laboratory systems. Design automation frameworks, maintain software integration infrastructure, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment. Support multiple aerospace programs through software integration, automation, and infrastructure enhancements., * Integrate software components supporting multiple development platforms

  • Support software integration, troubleshooting, and debugging activities
  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable and repeatable software builds
  • Design automation frameworks using open-source, commercial, and proprietary tools
  • Enhance virtual development laboratory environments and aircraft software workflows
  • Participate in daily scrums, sprint reviews, and technical demonstrations
  • Collaborate with engineers, scientists, and customers to resolve technical challenges
  • Improve automation infrastructure supporting software integration and build processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited college or university

  • 3+ years of experience programming in C++

  • 3+ years of experience programming in Python

  • 1 - 2 years of experience developing software on Linux, including RedHat or SUSE12

  • Experience with simulation software environments

  • Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals

  • Preferred Skills

  • Experience with CI tools, including Jenkins, GitLab, or Bitbucket

  • Background supporting real-time software development and integration

  • Interest in supporting software development for airborne systems

  • Experience with aircraft sensors, datalinks, navigation, or weapons systems, and Open Mission Systems

  • Experience leading software projects

  • 1 - 2 years of experience with Hardware Integration

  • 4 - 6 years of experience with Integration

  • 1 - 2 years of experience with Simulation

  • 6+ years of experience with Software Development

  • Experience working in Digital Twin environments
