job summary: Join a high-impact enterprise cloud transformation initiative as a Project Manager III focused on Security & Compliance. In this role, you will lead complex IT projects that drive the implementation of secure cloud solutions across Azure and AWS environments while partnering with cross-functional teams spanning infrastructure, applications, data, security, and business operations. You will oversee project planning, execution, budgets, resource management, vendor coordination, and executive reporting to ensure successful delivery of strategic technology initiatives. The ideal candidate brings extensive enterprise IT project management experience, a strong understanding of cloud technologies and cybersecurity principles, and the ability to lead multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned project manager to play a key role in a large-scale cloud modernization effort while working alongside senior technology and business leaders in a collaborative, enterprise environment.

responsibilities: Job Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple enterprise IT projects from initiation through implementation and project close.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, risk logs, issue logs, and resource plans.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across Security & Compliance, Infrastructure, Applications, Data, Client Services, and Business Solutions.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, dependencies, and resource allocation.
  • Facilitate vendor evaluations, RFP processes, proof of concepts, and implementation activities.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular executive status updates, risk assessments, and mitigation plans.
  • Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical deliverables.
  • Coordinate shared resources across multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Lead project meetings, drive decision-making, and resolve project issues.
  • Support continuous improvement of project management processes and methodologies.
  • Ensure projects adhere to organizational security policies, industry standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and leadership.

qualifications: Qualifications

10+ years of combined IT experience, including:

5+ years of IT Project Management experience.

5+ years of additional IT professional experience.

Experience managing multiple complex enterprise technology projects.

Experience delivering projects within IT Security and Compliance environments.

Experience implementing or supporting cloud environments.

Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure and/or AWS.

Understanding of cybersecurity concepts including:

Identity and Access Management (IAM)

Network security

Encryption

Data protection

Cloud architecture

Risk management

Threat modeling

Defense-in-depth

Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

Experience coordinating cross-functional technical teams and vendors.

Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.

Strong leadership, organizational, negotiation, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.

Experience with both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.

Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps (TFS), Microsoft Office Suite, and Visio.

Preferred Qualifications

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CCSK, or similar.

Experience with cloud security frameworks and industry compliance standards.

Experience leading cloud migration initiatives involving on-premises workloads moving to cloud environments.

Experience managing enterprise cloud transformation programs.
