Job description
Review and understand customer requirements for various Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems ("ADAS") control systems and perform technical analysis. Collaborate closely with global cross-functional teams to develop new algorithms/models or update existing ADAS models. Support real-world evaluation of ADAS & Electronic Control Unit features via Model In the Loop/Software In the Loop/Hardware In the Loop and identify system problems/issues. Support and coordinate root-cause analysis and oversee function teams to ensure delivered system achieves required features. Create technical documentation, design specifications, and best practices guides for ADAS solutions. *May work remotely within normal commuting distance of Farmington Hills, MI. **Requires up to 15% domestic travel to support product development.
Requirements
Master's degree mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or a related technical field plus two (2) years of post-bachelor's experience. Skills: Matlab; Simulink; Python programming language; Vector CANape and CANAlyzer; CarMaker; and Model In the Loop, Software In the Loop, or Hardware In the Loop testing. The required skills do not need to be maintained over the full term of required experience.
