Job Duty Conduct data curation, data integration, data cleaning and data management of a variety of different datasets, including secondary data (electronic health record data, geospatial data, publicly available data Essential Function Yes Percentage of Time 30 Job Duty Design, analyze, and interpret data for scientific research and generate readable reports and results for peer-reviewed publications and grant applications Essential Function Yes Percentage of Time 30 Job Duty Apply rigorous analytic methods to monitor and evaluate scientific efforts, progress, and outcomes across multiple research project Essential Function Yes Percentage of Time 15 Job Duty Develop new analytic strategies to accelerate the time from idea/data generation to research findings Essential Function Yes Percentage of Time 15 Job Duty Assist the PIs and other team members on other tasks such as manuscript/proposal preparation and interpretation of results, Hazardous weather category Non-Essential Employees in Safety-Sensitive or Security-Sensitive positions will be subject to pre-employment and post-employment drug testing in accordance with University policy HR 1.95 Drug and Alcohol Testing. Requirements
- Requires a bachelor's degree in a job related field and 2 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.
Required Certification, Licensure/Other Credentials Preferred Qualifications

Experience in analyzing various data, including but not limited to, electronic health records data, public health surveillance data, public health program implementation data, behavioral intervention and data from diverse sources

Proficiency in statistical and computational languages (SQL, SAAS, R, Python, etc.), skills

Knowledge of both traditional statistical analysis (e.g., logistic regression, Cox proportional regression model, Poisson regression model) and Big Data analytics (e.g., machine learning, artificial intelligence [AI], text mining, generative AI)
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Ability to take initiative and work independently, high standard of work ethic, effective oral and written communication skills.
