Job description

As a System Administrator, you will:

  • Build, configure, and deploy Docker containers within Kubernetes clusters.
  • Collaborate with multiple development teams to integrate web applications, services, databases, and directory technologies.
  • Support high-availability enterprise services and ensure systems remain fully operational.
  • Monitor system performance, proactively identify issues, and perform root-cause troubleshooting.
  • Maintain secure, compliant environments through patching, updates, and configuration management.
  • Contribute to documentation, operational procedures, and service readiness.

Requirements

  • An active NSA TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph.

  • 7+ years of relevant experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree).

  • DoD 8570 IAT Level I or higher (if determined applicable).

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and time-management skills.

  • Ability to provide after-hours support when needed.

  • Capability to obtain privileged system access.

Desired:

  • Linux administration (CentOS, RedHat).
  • Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Harbor container registry.
  • Directory services (LDAP, Active Directory).
  • JBOSS application server.
  • AWS services (VPC, EC2, AWS CLI, S3).
  • Automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • VCenter/VMWare virtual machine configuration.
  • PKI and certificate lifecycle management (x.509).
  • Scripting (Python, Bash, etc.).
  • OS/application patching (IAVA, version updates).
  • Tools such as Jira, Confluence, GitLab.
  • Networking, load balancing, and proxy technologies.
  • Databases (Oracle, MongoDB).

The proposed salary range for this position is: $103,800 - $218,100
