Job description
Quanta Power Solutions is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented System Administrator II or III to support and evolve enterprise IT infrastructure across IT and OT environments. This role will lead the design, implementation, and management of on-premises, hosted, and cloud systems, ensuring secure, reliable operations across a geographically distributed footprint. The ideal candidate is adaptable, technically strong, and experienced in fast-paced, evolving environments. What You'll Do

Design, implement, and support enterprise infrastructure including servers, virtualization, identity, and cloud platforms

Serve as a senior escalation point for complex technical issues, driving troubleshooting and root cause analysis

Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and hybrid identity services

Administer Microsoft Azure (VMs, networking, storage, identity, and security)

Support Microsoft 365 (Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune)

Implement and maintain endpoint management and security policies via Intune

Support SSO and identity federation (SAML and third-party integrations)

Manage virtualization environments (primarily Hyper-V), backup, and disaster recovery systems

Partner with network and cybersecurity teams to maintain secure, compliant environments

Lead infrastructure projects, upgrades, migrations, and M&A system integrations

Maintain system hardening, patching, monitoring, and compliance standards

Support OT infrastructure in collaboration with engineering and operations teams

Requirements
-
4-8 years of experience in system administration or infrastructure engineering

Strong expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, and core infrastructure services
-
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 (Entra ID, Intune, etc.)

Experience with virtualization platforms (Hyper-V preferred)

Knowledge of SSO, identity federation, and security best practices
-
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
Preferred

Experience in power generation or industrial environments

Exposure to OT/ICS/SCADA systems
-
Experience in M&A integrations and distributed infrastructure

Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards

Scripting/automation experience (PowerShell, Azure CLI)

Relevant certifications (Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server)
