Job description

Completes project(s) of various size that are of moderate to high complexity to scope, schedule, financial impact and deliverables agreed to by the project stakeholders and leadership.

Evaluates project status and identifies any issues or risks.

Collaborates with stakeholders, business analysts, etc.

to track project scope, budget, deliverables, timeline and detailed work plan, etc.

Documents and maintains records of project plan changes/updates.

Monitors project resources and day-to-day planning of operational aspects of the project to ensure that deliverable timelines are met.

Provides status updates and related reporting to ensure that projects are staffed with the appropriate Information Technology (IT) staff, stakeholders and vendor resources.

Serves as a subject matter expert in hardware or software project's structures and technology.

Mentors more junior project managers, and provides expertise in support of highly complex projects or program design, as needed.

Provides feedback to project team resource managers on more junior project team member's performance during the project.

Performs other duties as required.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree.
-
5 years of related experience.
Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.

Demonstrates expert knowledge of IT Project Management Best Practices and effectively applies to appropriate projects.
