Job description

LifeGift is currently looking for a Senior Deskside Support Technician. Are you someone that can provide advanced technical support for end users, ensuring reliable operation of desktop computers, laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, and software applications. This role serves as a senior escalation point for complex technical issues, mentors junior support staff, and works closely with infrastructure, networking, security, and application teams to maintain a stable IT environment while delivering exceptional customer service.

Do you possess the attributes to be a successful Senior Deskside Support Technician and perform the following essential functions?

  • Provides Tier 2 and Tier 3 deskside support for hardware, software, operating systems, and business applications.
  • Installs, configures, maintains, and troubleshoots desktop and laptop computers, printers, scanners, docking stations, and peripheral devices.
  • Supports Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Office, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), and collaboration platforms.
  • Diagnoses and resolves complex hardware, software, networking, and connectivity issues.
  • Configures and supports mobile devices using MDM solutions.
  • Performs workstation imaging, deployment, upgrades, migrations, and refresh projects.
  • Manages user accounts, permissions, password resets, and group memberships.
  • Supports VPN connectivity, remote access, and MFA.
  • Documents incidents and resolutions in the ITSM platform.
  • Maintains IT asset inventory.
  • Coordinates warranty repairs and vendor support.
  • Assists onboarding/offboarding.
  • Collaborates with cybersecurity teams.
  • Participates in after-hours support.
  • Recommends process improvements.

Requirements

  • Associate's/Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5-8 years desktop support.
  • Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, networking knowledge.
  • Intune/SCCM/Endpoint Manager experience.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and customer service
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+
  • Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator
  • ITIL Foundation
  • VMware/Citrix experience
