Job description

Repairs, trouble-shoots, assembles, tests, modifies, analyzes, and maintains Lifetouch equipment such as camera equipment, computer systems, cables, sport systems, and lighting equipment as well as other miscellaneous equipment supported by Field Technical Services department.

Provides trouble shooting over the phone with Lifetouch internal field customers of Lifetouch camera and computer systems., * Help write process sheets for repairs, and for each assembly or have any assembly notes necessary added to the blueprint.

Recognize any problem an Assembler or repair person may have during the assembly process and eliminate the problem using fixtures or whatever means necessary to correct the problem. Measured by the smooth problem free process of an assembly.

Work with Lead people to insure proper use of fixtures.

Work with and make suggestions to Leads/ Supervisors that may create higher quality more functional assemblies.

May travel to other Lifetouch facilities for equipment installation, repair or training (< 5% of the time)
Requirements

Good communication skills, written and verbal.

Good customer service skills.

Basic Computer skills, such as knowledge of Windows XP, 7, 10

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Office 365 (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.), * Minimum requirement is 2 years electronic schooling or equivalent.

Able to work in a deadline driven environment

Able to work unusual hours at short notice, including overtime.

Able to lift up to 35 lbs.
