INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST I

This position reports to the Disability Insurance (DI)-Test Group, IT Supervisor II in the Enterprise Testing Office (ETO). ETO provides various testing services that include, but are not limited to, system testing, performance testing, and automation testing. ETO is also responsible for maintaining complex test environments and handling testing support functions, such as data mining and data encryption. • Strong understanding of test management tools such as ALM, JIRA, and similar platforms.
• Background in mainframe and backend database testing, with competence in SQL for validation and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of EDD benefit programs and their supporting automated systems relating to Disability Insurance, Unemployment Insurance and Paid Family Leave.
• Experience working within Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid SDLC frameworks.
• Working knowledge of test automation and collaboration with automation teams.
