Job description

  • Develop and improve training plans, materials and tools to be used in the software training process. Provide in-depth training onsite and using remote Web sessions. This is done under the direction of the Chief Information Officer. The ability to efficiently accomplish assigned duties and projects are a necessity.

Requirements

  • Education o Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

  • Experience o Five years of I.T. experience, preferably with at least two (2) years' experience in a healthcare setting.

  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities o Ability to diagnose issues, install updates and customize Windows desktop systems in order to meet company requirements. o Knowledge of mobile phone Operating Systems to customize and configure for employee's use. o Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required. o Ability to type and use computers with efficiency to accomplish required tasks. o Excellent communication skills with proven ability to master new technologies and instruct others on its use. o Strong organizational skills with proven ability to effectively manage projects effectively. o Ability to learn and understand the inner workings of software/programs and use that knowledge to customize to organization needs o Experience with Electronic Medical Records systems preferred. o High level of ethics in maintaining patient and employee confidentiality. o Ability to maintain courteous and customer-oriented demeanor in a crisis situation and acts responsibly to resolve or defuse the situation. o Ability to adapt well to change. o Ability to work closely with co-workers.

  • Physical and Mental Requirements
  • Sits, stands, walks, and converses most of the day.
  • Exerts up to 20 pounds of force frequently including pushing, pulling, and/or reaching for objects.
  • Potential exposure to electrical or mechanical hazards.
  • OSHA Category III: Normal routine involves no exposure to blood, body fluid or tissue and as part of their employment, incumbents are not called upon to perform or assist in emergency care or first aid.
  • Ability to operate office equipment including computer, telephone, printer, fax, etc.
