About the RoleThe Applications Developer III is responsible for designing, coding, testing, and maintaining complex software applications that support various business functions. This role requires extensive experience and expertise in multiple programming languages and frameworks, as well as proficiency with various development tools and technologies. They will have a proven track record of leading and delivering high-quality software solutions, mentoring junior developers, and driving continuous improvement in software development processes. In addition to technical skills, the Applications Developer III must possess excellent problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills to interact with stakeholders and team members. This position offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects, stay updated with the latest industry trends, and contribute to the strategic direction of software development initiatives.

In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain complex software applications to support business functions, ensuring they meet organizational needs. You will write clean, scalable, and efficient code using multiple programming languages while collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Conducting unit testing and debugging to ensure software quality and reliability will be a key responsibility. Additionally, you will participate in and lead code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members. You will utilize version control systems like Git to manage the codebase and track changes effectively. Documenting software designs, code, and processes for future reference and maintenance will be essential. Staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies will ensure the software remains current and competitive. Furthermore, you will independently design and implement software solutions, perform debugging and testing, and mentor junior developers by providing technical leadership and expertise. Finally, you will contribute to the strategic direction of software development initiatives, helping to shape the future of the organization's software capabilities. About You

Requirements

  • Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree or Masters +3 yrs experience).
  • Typically 5+ years of related experience.
  • Expertise in multiple programming languages and frameworks.
  • Experience with various development tools and technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of database management systems and SQL.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, or others.
  • Familiarity with development frameworks such as Spring, Django, .NET, React, or Angular.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience in leading and mentoring development teams.

Pay Range: $116,865.00 - $160,711.50
