Job description

Branch Technologies is a growing Managed IT Services Provider supporting small and mid-sized businesses throughout the Charleston area. We're looking for a Systems Support Engineer who enjoys solving problems, taking ownership, and delivering an exceptional client experience.

This is not an entry-level help desk position. We're looking for someone who can independently troubleshoot complex technical issues while knowing when to collaborate with the team.

What You'll Do

  • Resolve Tier 2 support requests for Windows workstations, servers, Microsoft 365, networking, and business applications.
  • Troubleshoot Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
  • Support Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and file permissions.
  • Configure and troubleshoot firewalls, VPNs, wireless networks, and business networking equipment.
  • Deploy new computers and servers.
  • Assist with Microsoft 365 migrations and infrastructure projects.
  • Document solutions and improve internal processes.
  • Mentor Level 1 technicians and assist with escalated issues.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service with clear, professional communication.

Requirements

  • 2 years of IT support experience.
  • Previous MSP experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Experience supporting Windows Server and Active Directory.
  • Experience with business networking, VPNs, firewalls, switches, and wireless.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks without sacrificing quality.
  • Self-motivated with a desire to continually learn.

Bonus Experience

  • Microsoft Azure or Azure Virtual Desktop
  • Hyper-V or VMware

Pay: $53,337.74 - $64,234.70 per year
