Job description

sponsible for Data Delivery and Execution across multiple LOB's. 300 Controls in place for Sox Financial Reporting. Candidate will be looking at large data sets both source and target. Evaluating human access for Financial reporting. This Analyst needs to be proficient in both SQL and Python and they will be writing routines that will validate scripts from Data Sources and Data Warehouses and helping to standardize the process of testing data. Risk Management mindset. Will also need t0 create reports using Tableau, Power BI or Looker Studio (google) Analysis: Identify business challenges and opportunities for improvement and solve for them using analysis to make strategic or tactical recommendations Partnership: Work closely with colleagues, including Engineering, Operations, and Lines of Business to create clarity and transparency in control data and processes.

Requirements

Strategic & analytic orientation: A proven track record of decision making and problem solving based on analytics. Conceptual thinking skills must be complemented by a strong quantitative orientation. Strong communication skills: Impeccable written and oral communication credentials, coupled with strategic influencing skills and the ability to drive agreement through intellect, interpersonal and negotiation skills. Clear results orientation: display an intense focus on achieving both short and long term goals. The candidate should be able to drive and execute an agenda in an uncertain and fluid environment. Successful track record of thriving in a fast paced, entrepreneurial and dynamic environment. Previous consulting experience is a plus., * Bachelors Degree

  • Experience in data analysis building Dashboards and Analytics
  • Experience with SQL and Python
  • Experience with platforms like: Postgres, Oracle, Cassandra, MySQL, DynamoDB

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree specialized in Business Analytics, Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics discipline
  • Strong desire and experience with data in various forms (data warehouses/SQL, unstructured data like JSON)
  • Experience working with AWS services (AWS Console, IAM, S3 Buckets, Cloud Trail, Resource Based Policies)
