Job description

AV is looking for a highly talented Senior Systems Engineer to join our team! In this role you will use your expertise in mission/software assurance, system architecture, and interface design. The selected candidate will ensure the reliability, security, and quality of hardware/software systems, contribute to architectural decisions, and design robust interfaces for seamless integration across MDS platforms., * Participate in hardware/software engineering activities to include mission/software assurance, code reviews, static analysis, testing, and engineering reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

  • Provide input to programs on software architectures that are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to software quality, security, and performance.
  • Ensure hardware/software engineering/assurance processes are acceptable and reports are assessed.
  • Provide technical guidance assessing objective evidence for hardware/software engineering.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) field
  • 12+ years of related professional experience
  • Active Secret clearance
  • Extensive experience in hardware/software engineering processes
  • Extensive experience in hardware/software assurance processes
  • Experience assessing objective evidence for hardware/software engineering
  • Professional communications and organization skills

Desired:

  • MDA Experience
  • Knowledge of Agile Engineering Design
  • Knowledge of Digital Engineering Principals
  • Knowledge of the Missile Defense System (elements, products, and capabilities) experience
