Job description

This position follows an 8-hour shift schedule that may fluctuate to accommodate daytime, evening, and overnight technology rollout projects across multiple time zones. Advance notice will be provided for any schedule changes.

Paid Training: Monday-Friday, onsite. Training schedules will occur between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM and may vary by candidate., We are seeking a Technical Support Call Center Representative to support large-scale technology rollout projects. This is not a traditional customer service call center position. Instead, you will provide first-level technical support to field technicians, contractors, and vendors during technology installations and upgrades.

You will receive inbound calls, place outbound calls when needed, document activity in tracking systems, and assist with troubleshooting while ensuring project implementation procedures are followed. Comprehensive training, project documentation, and system access will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support to field technicians, contractors, and vendors during technology installations and upgrades.
  • Handle inbound calls and make outbound calls as required.
  • Document call details and update tracking applications accurately.
  • Perform system validations and follow established implementation procedures.
  • Communicate project updates through email and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Support multiple technology rollout projects simultaneously.
  • Maintain accurate records while meeting productivity and quality expectations.
  • Follow established troubleshooting guides and escalation procedures.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel preferred.
  • IT hardware installation or technology implementation experience is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment., * IT help desk or service desk: 1 year (Required)
