This position is a hybrid role that sits at the intersection of technology and business and will be focused on supporting ECO-wide initiatives. The Senior Specialist partners with IDEAS team members and ECO stakeholders to understand business needs, translate them into technical requirements, and deliver well-tested solutions. Individuals in this role bring a strong technical foundation (data modeling, SQL, visualization software, various programming languages) and a desire to deepen their understanding of the business and compliance environment. The IDEAS team works in a collaborative model, with individuals contributing to projects from concept to deployment while learning new and emerging technologies to help mitigate company risk.

  • Demonstratable proficiency in R and Python coding languages.

  • Intermediate to advanced ability to write SQL (Inner & Outer Joins, Linked Servers, Functions, Stored Procs, Case Statements) and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Ability to independently learn and incorporate new and emerging technology & techniques (AI, ML, BOTs, NLP)
  • Understand underlying theory and application of key reporting/visualization software.
  • Evaluate data using analytical and logical reasoning for the discovery of insights.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Exposure to regulated industries (e.g., pharmaceutical/healthcare) or compliance-related work or enterprise data environments preferred.
  • Exposure to working in a global environment or supporting multiple divisions, markets, and regions.
  • Strong desire to learn the business, compliance processes, and how data-driven solutions can mitigate risk.
  • Experience working with enterprise-wide systems and vendors (i.e., financial reporting, master data management, customer relationship management, expense management).
